One of the original definitions for liberal in a political sense was "One who favors greater freedom in political or religious matters; an opponent of the established systems". I can agree that in today's sense liberal basically means socialism.

However, I would believe that the moderators of this site may appear liberal (in the orginal sense of the word)because they want to continue to enjoy the main purpose of this site which is online sports betting. Do you want your online book deposit confiscated and being told that you support terrorists because you bet a three game parlay? It looks like it is heading that way as Bush chops away slowly on freedom in the name of saving us from the booga booga terrorists.

I would say it has more to do with the fact that a far greater % (as compared to Conservatives) of professional liberals like Wilheim, Lander, General etc. don't really have a real job or business so they have the time on their hands to be moderators. Most small business owners and professionals of various industries are conservaitves.

When did wilheim turn pro? Just because I post in this forum. As far as time on my hands goes, I don't believe I am breaking any laws at this point. I have worked my entire life, now I don't have to. Sue me.

Where did you get this from? Any evidence to back up this assertion? Sounds like a guess to me.

X - Sounds like all liberals must be scumbags. At least we are not lonely there must be over 100 million liberal scumbags in the US alone.

"Most small business owners are conservatives..."

BM: heh

I've been self employed and run businesses in Texas and Florida during the past 22 years. Household income for past 10 years has been in the upper 20% steadily.

Fiscal conservative, yeah. But social liberal (commie, pinko, hippie, whatever) for sure.

Panda how many chamber of commerce meetings have you attended?

ROTFLMAO yea small business owner hahahahaha.

Is it self employed or running companies? Pick one, hahahaha another good one,

two nitwits who if taken seriously are the greatest proof that there is nothing wrong with the system.

either way it is impossible to be fiscally conservative and socially liberal.

you people are a riot, I presume I have been to more chamber of commerce meetings than both combine and further that my wife and I and are abt double your workforces.

call it a strong gut feeling.

continued posting that small business owners are in anyway shape or form anything but predominantly republican and conservative is ignorant.

There's nothing particularly sinister about why all of the RX mods are leftists. The Shrink is a leftist, so it makes sense that the people he hires will share his political views.
